We meet at our base or at the minigolf café at the lakeside, wherever agreed. Briefly we go through the formalities of the flight before we get a ride to the top of the mountain with the cable car ( transfers included ). Once we arrive at the top it is a short walk across to our take off area. The view is stunning and you will have some time to enjoy the scenery as your pilot lays out the glider and prepares the equipment. Soon we are ready for launch.

It takes only minimum effort to take off and get airborne, your instructor controls the glider and we are airborne!

During the flight we can talk as normal, the wind noise is minimal and you can enjoy the spectacular view from the front seat. We will try to find some lift along the side of the mountain, enabling us to stay up longer. As we leave the mountain behind us and fly out over the lake we will show you how to steer the glider and if you are lucky you can have a go at it yourself.

We set up for a soft landing at the landing field next to the lake. Your instructor will flare the glider prior to touching down and we come to a gentle stop.

After a short safety briefing and instruction on take off it's time to put on your harness and helmet and prepare for take off. The actual launch is straightforward and usually very easy.

On our mountain flights we usually launch from Hanguren, 600 meters above the lake
