Tandem paragliding is a great way to experience the freedom of flying.

The basic skills are easy to learn, and taking a tandem flight with a tandem pilot has for many of our clients been the first step towards signing up for a paragliding course and learning to fly them selves.

We fly from the takeoffs found on the mountains surrounding Voss or use our state of the art winch, mounted on our powerboat, to tow us to altitude. Either way of taking off is safe, the winched method usually offers longer and higher flights. What to Bring: Sturdy footwear and warm clothing. For the shoulder seasons we recommend warm gloves, while they are usually not needed during summer.

A paraglider is a non-rigid inflatable wing that once inflated can allow you to soar on currents of air like a bird. Using state of the art fabrics they combine the security of a parachute with modern wing design to produce an aircraft that is very easy to launch, fly and land.

The basic skills are easy to learn, and taking a tandem flight with a tandem pilot has for many of our clients been the first step towards signing up for a paragliding course and learning to fly them selves. The equipment is safe and simple, lightweight and relatively inexpensive compared to other aircraft.
Launched by running down a slope into a breeze, the pilot can once airborne gently glide down hundreds or sometimes thousands of metres to a landing zone.

Hanguren is our most commonly used take off for the mountain flights, overlooking the town from 600 metres above.
From here you can enjoy fantastic views on your flight of a lifetime, the flight comes to an end with a landing at the main landing area next to the lakefront. Here you find the mini golf lakeside café which offers indoor & outdoor seated areas. Your family or friends are welcome to come along and can enjoy a variety of food and drinks while they wait for us to land. It is also an excellent vantage point for friends to watch your flight.

Bookings:

Bookings are essential so don't leave it until your last day in Voss, as we are dependent on good weather. You may show up on the day you wish to fly and we will fly you if our capacity and weather conditions allow.
